Creating an AgNews Icon on your Windows Desktop

1. Right click on the icon on your Windows Desktop for the program you use(Netscape or Explorer) to connect to the Internet.
2. Select "Create Shortcut" form the pull-down menu. A second copy of that icon will appear on your desktop.
3. Right click on the New copy of that icon.
4. Select "Properties"
5. Position your cursor at the end of the existing text in the box marked "Target"
6. Press the spacebar to leave a space between the ending quotation mark, then type http://agnews.usda.gov/
7. Click the "Change Icon" button to select the icon you want to see on your Windows Desktop for AgNews
8. Find the new icon on your Desktop, then right click it, select "Rename" then type in "AgNews" to replace the existing icon name.
